Here at Top Dawg, our trainers are balanced trainers. Balanced dog training is an approach that incorporates elements of both positive reinforcement and correction-based techniques to address canine behavior and obedience. Depends on level of dog and/or Service acquired. however most owners will see a noticeable difference after the first session. it will be up to owner to do the homework and practice with the dog.

We DO! we offer group sessions only to selected clients when we feel they and their pet is ready. private sessions are offered to everybody, as long as the dog doesn’t have severe reactivity / aggression, for that we offer the board and train.

we DO! we strongly recommend our puppy starter kit, there we will teach you everything you need to know about your pup and successfully train them!

We find success with all breeds, but if we had to say which breeds we know the most about or have worked the most with, it would have to be the Husky, Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd.

As long time Husky owners we fully understand all the misbehavior and drama that comes along with them. in the dog training world, huskies are notoriously disliked and known to be “Stubborn” trouble makers. Here we’re prepared for all that. No husky is to big, No husky is to small.

Our lead trainer comes from a police k-9 Handler background, hence the knowledge on the Malinois and German Shepherd.

The entire team owns dogs! How could we call ourselves dog trainers without owning any. our lead trainer owns 5 dogs, which All help train the clients in the there own ways

YES! we offer 5 follow up sessions with every board and train purchase. can be used anytime for the life of the dog!

a training session will consist of a training lesson, breed knowledge and care. lessons will vary on dogs level of obedience, a trainer will let you know what each lesson will consist of every week.

We cannot offer guarantees until we have evaluated your dog. we only offer guarantees in certain aspects of training, for example if a trainer tells you we can get your dog to stop a certain behavior by 3 weeks, we will honor our guarantee and you will get a full refund if what was promised was not complete, however we can only guarantee we will have the task completed by the time of pick up, It is up to the owner to maintain his/her training, you cann t come back a month later and ask for a refund if you the owner, has not kept up with the training, for tha we offer follow up lessons.
